How is everyone supposed to learn english, if the ones that do don't know how to take care of their own health? I think it's far beyond learning english.

Agreed. What language people speak is not even on the list of problems that need to be addresses.
Not to mention, the Bush administration continually cuts federal funding of education, to include English as a Second Language programs.
